Release & Integrate
Breathing is synonymous with life. We must breath in to provide a continuous supply of oxygen to the body for energy and breath out to release toxic wastes such as carbon dioxide and lactic acid. The physical body requires this exchange of gases to maintain its chemical balance and sense of well-being.
When we are emotionally stressed with worry, anxiety, anger, or fear this chemical balance is upset and a harmful over-acidic condition within the body occurs. These emotional states are also accompanied by blocked, inhibited and minimized breathing patterns. This depressed, shallow breathing has the effect of dulling thought, suppressing emotions and manifesting pain and dis-ease in the body. Shallow breathing limits the necessary oxygen supply to the body and results in inadequate removal of toxic wastes. Eventually, the weakest cells, tissues and organs of the body break down.
Over the years we have learned how to suppress and deny unpleasant feelings and conditions in our lives using inhibited breathing. This emotional energy, unexpressed and not dealt with, is then held at a cellular level where it continues to build up locked within the physical body. This continuing mode has resulted in the self-limiting patterns of belief and behavior which still govern our present thoughts, emotional responses, and physical well-being.
Just as we have unconsciously used our breath to hold ourselves and our feelings back, we can now consciously use our breath to free us from these limitations. As full deep breathing is restored, the very cells of our bodies are rejuvenated. Charges of energy which have held old thought patterns and emotional stresses at the cellular level are unlocked, allowing them to come to the surface of our awareness where they can be released from the body. This allows more energy to freely circulate through the body like an internal shower breaking up blockages as it moves through the system. Physically, we will be lighter, oxygenating the body down to the cell level, going from an over-acidic state to an alkaline one, resulting in a rejuvenated cellular structure and more vitality and aliveness in our body physical. Mentally, we will have restored a balanced brain chemistry, increased our alertness, clarity, and focus which will allow us to experience a shift in perception enabling us to see ourselves and our world differently. Emotionally, we will create a more joyous, peaceful state of well-being where hope can thrive. Our interactions with life will shift and change. In this state, we are free to participate more passionately and fully in our own lives.

“Knowing Boni Light has changed my life. I suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder and had spent years in therapy. Then I met Boni and Breathed and had counseling sessions with Boni and my life turned a corner. I have rarely felt as safe with anyone as I do with her. I know she is always there for me, never judging; always supportive. Through private counseling and breathing sessions with her I have expanded my consciousness and personal awareness; as well as learning simple and effective tools for coping with everyday life.
Boni is highly intuitive, kind, generous and loving. I am eternally grateful that she is a part of my life. She is a mentor and a friend; and I know that I can reach out to her anytime and she will be there for me.
I highly recommend Boni as a counselor, a teacher, a breathwork therapist, and a friend.”

“Doing Breathwork with Boni is one of the most powerful things I have ever done for myself. I have found that using the different breathing techniques that Boni has taught me over the years has enabled me to get through some pretty difficult times with more balance than I would have thought possible.
My two favorite techniques are first, the Purging Breath for a general clean out and rebalancing. I always come away from these breath sessions feeling a sense of well-being, inspired to take my next steps in life, sometimes even getting clarity on them while breathing. The second technique, the ‘on-the-spot’ breath, is a breathing technique I use whenever I find myself in reaction to something. A few structured breaths and I find I can rinse that emotional reaction and the thoughts behind it right out of me and replace them consciously with a perception I prefer. The only trick I had to learn was to notice when I was reacting. That part took conscious practice. Now it’s second nature with me.
I am so thankful Boni came into my life at the right time, just when I needed her most. The counseling I received along with the Breathwork has always been an invaluable part of my sessions with her. I would confidently recommend Boni and the work she does to anyone and everyone. She has always been there for me when I needed her. Let her be there for you.”
